The Valleys of Thornhill community is located in the quadrant from Bathurst St. to Dufferin St. Rutherford Rd. to Major Mackenzie Dr.  It is located in the City of Vaughan.

In the Valleys community there is an assortment of housing types; from townhouses to large detached homes. The Valleys was started in the early 2000 and is still undergoing construction.  Many schools are future sited and currently bussing is used to commute students if there schools are not in existence.

The Valleys of Thornhill community is comprised of many young to mid-aged couples/singles and their families.  Just off of Bathurst St. there is the Lebovic Jewish community Campus which is a facility that including Hebrew Schools, a Jewish community center, a theatre, conference centre and many other Jewish organizations and services. This center was completed in 2012.  This center has attracted many Jewish families to the area however; there is still a mix of many other cultures living there.

The Valleys community is one of the bordering quadrants of Maple to the west, Richmond Hill to the north, Thornhill to the south. It is therefore a very attractive area for many different cultures of people to live. Majority of the homes and townhouses prices from mid $600k's.

The Valleys community has easy access to a lot of shopping.  There are major grocery stores and strip plazas including all needed amenities and restaurants surrounding the Valleys community located on the north and south corners of Bathurst St. and Rutherford Rd. and a very large newly built shopping complex on the North West corner of Dufferin St. and Rutherford Rd. The nearest indoor malls are The Promenade mall located at Centre St and Bathurst St., Hillcrest mall located at Yonge St. and Carvelle Rd. (the continuation of Rutherford Rd. west of Bathurst St,)and Vaughan Mills Outlet mall located at Major Mackenzie Rd. and Jane St.  The Valleys community is located within minutes drive from Paramount Canada’s Wonderland the outdoor summer amusement park.
