Dufferin Hills Community is located from Dufferin St. to west of Keele St. and from Rutherford Ave. to north of Highway 7.  This community is located in the city of Vaughan.  The Dufferin Hills Community consists of town homes, Semi-detached and detached homes.

In Dufferin Hills Community there are two schools. There is Forest Run Public School (an Elementary Public School) and North Park Private School which is geared towards ages 18 months to grade three.  The Secondary school and Catholic District Schools are located in the surrounding communities with bussing provided.

The Dufferin Hills Community currently has no condominiums built at present but it is comprised of town homes, Semi-detached homes and detached homes. The town homes and semi-detached homes range in size from approximately two thousand sq. ft. and under and the detached homes start at under two thousand sq. ft. and go up to approximately three thousand sq. ft.

The homes in this area consist mainly of links, semis, Townhomes and detached houses starting from $600,000 and up.

There are a lot of young to middle aged people with families in the area.  Confederation way is the main thru street in the area.

The nearest supermarkets are located on both the north/west and south/west corners of Bathurst St. and Rutherford Rd., which are Longo’s and Sobeys Supermarkets’.  There is also a newer No frills located on the south/west corner of Dufferin St. and Rutherford Rd.  The Dufferin Hills Community is located in the city of Vaughan.

This community is still under construction.  The community is somewhat unique in that it is a residential community surrounded by industry to the west and south.  Dufferin Hills Community is located in the city of Vaughan.  It is approximately 10 to 15 minutes drive north of Steeles Ave.(Toronto). Some people consider it to be Thornhill and others consider it to be part of Maple; because it is located on the border of each city. For MLS purposes it is considered to be the district N08.
