The Maple Highlands Community is located in the Keele St. and Kirby Rd. area which is north of Teston Rd in the City of Vaughan. This Community was built in the early 2000.

The area consists of town homes, semi-detached homes, and detached homes. The detached homes range in size from under 2000 sq. ft. to approx. 4000 sq. ft and the prices are from the mid $500 to over a million. There is a senior’s residence in the area and a strip plaza; The Maplewood Village plaza, consisting of a convenience store, cleaners, day care, medical office, fitness centres and etc. There is a Catholic school in the area and other schools in nearby areas that children are bussed to.

The Dreamwood Community is located adjacent to the Maple Highland community, just south on Keele St.  The two main streets that run though this community are Ravineview Dr. and Peak Point blvd.  Because of the wide range of home types and sizes, this area is suitable for any age range person or family size.

On the corner of Keele St. and Kirby Rd. there is a gas station and a Tim Horton’s. There is lots of shopping on the corner of Major Mackenzie Dr and Dufferin St. including grocery stores, box stores, banks and restaurants and an LCBO.  There is also a lot of shopping and Restaurants located at the corner of Keele St. and Rutherford Rd. The nearest indoor shopping mall is Vaughan Mills Outlet Malls located at the corner of Rutherford Rd. and Jane St. Maple Highlands/Dreamwood communities are located minutes drive from Reptilia (a reptile zoo/store); Canada’s Wonderland Land (an outdoor summer amusement/water park); and a large indoor sports area.

The community is about fifteen to twenty minutes drive north of Steeles Ave. or the Toronto city border line.  It is off Keele St. which is the same street as York University.  Therefore an attractive area to staff of the University and families with students in attendance there, or investors.
