The Brownridge community is located in the quadrant from Centre St. to north of Clark Ave. and from Dufferin St. east to Bathurst St.  The community was built in the late 1980’s.  It is made up of many different builders’ homes and the housing types range from condos to townhouses to detached homes.  The community is very family oriented and made of mostly middle income families.  The houses range from the upper $600,000 to over a million.  Many houses have been or are being renovated as they can run as old as 30+ years old.

There are approximately eight condominium buildings in the area ranging in age from new to approximately 30+ years of age. They range in size from 800 sq. ft. to just under 3000 sq. ft. and the price range would start at the mid $200,000 to over $1,000,000 (as of 2012). The demographics of the area are very mixed and the age of the families range anywhere from young families to young professionals to older retirees.

The Brownridge community is located in walking distance to the promenade mall and conveniently located in an area of two libraries a community centre, strip plazas, schools (both public and catholic), a mini water park, community parks and many religious institutions and more.  Since the area just north of Steeles Ave. and the Toronto border, the TTC is another option that is possible.  It is a short driving distance from Hwy 7, and the 407, as well as, the 401. The location makes this ideal for those that commute college and university students as well as those that need the Hwy for work.

Brownridge is the southernmost community in Vaughan and Toronto has started on the TTC subway being extended to Vaughan.  This should increase the value of this community even more making it even more attractive in the future.
