Beverley Glen is a lovely family oriented community located Bathurst Street to east, Dufferin St. to the west, Centre St. to the south and Hwy 7 or 407 to the north.  The area is over twenty years old and consists of an assortment of homes from older and newer town homes to larger executive homes with larger pool size lots and even a smaller area of custom oversized homes.  The most recently addition to the subdivision are condominium buildings.  The area is priced from the $600,000 to well over a $1,000,000+ for the exclusive homes.  The condos would run from the high $200,000 and up.

The Beverley Glen community has two elementary Schools: Wilshire P.S. and Ventura Park P.S.  It also has Westmount Collegiate H.S. which is attached to Rosemount Community Centre.  The community centre has an indoor skating rink, a gym room as well as meeting/class rooms that are used to run community programs in.  Also housed in the building is the City Playhouse which is a theatre.   There is a Walmart Superstore with groceries.  Adjacent to Walmart’s parking lot and on Desira Dr., there is a very unique shopping street consisting of boutiques and restaurants (many café styles) with outdoor seating.  There is also Nofrills grocery store in a plaza with Winner, Homesense, TD Bank and other stores and restaurants.  There are also many parks for children’s enjoyment.

Within minutes walk of the area is the Promenade Shopping Mall and a Vaughan Public Library. The area is within minute’s drive of Toronto’s city limits, and both Hwy 7 and Hwy 407.  There is even a dog park nearby as well as Mario Racco Park which has a splash park, running tracks, baseball diamonds, soccer fields and more.  There are Synagogues, Churches, Catholic Schools and Private Jewish schools all in the area or very close by. This area has something for everyone, which is why you can find many cultures living in the area as well a strong Jewish population.  There are both young and older families living in Beverley Glen and in the last few years they even opened a senior’s residents.
