Why Buy Real Estate in Thornberry Woods?

When people decide to make a move, there are many things that people have to take into consideration.  Location is usually the first and most important that tops most people’s list.  They want to be close to work, family, highways, possibly certain schools.

When we look at Thornberry Woods the newer community located in the City of Vaughan from Dufferin St. west to Peter Ruppert St. and from Ruthford Rd. runs North to Major Mackenzie Rd.  It has a lot to offer.   Most of the area is within 5yrs of age or still being constructed which means the homes will have quite a few years without needing updating and major repair. The area itself is quite beautiful and tranquil, there are man- made ponds with trails that run through the community and around the ponds for families to walk or bike around.  The ponds also offer benches for those that want to take in the sights or just sit and read a book.  Imagine starting your day off that way!  The subdivision offers homes of all sizes including towns, semis, detached and also include the larger luxury homes of 3000+ sq. ft.

Presently there is an Elementary school: Dr. Roberta Bondar P.S. and a Catholic school:  St. Joan of Arc C.H.S. The other children are being bussed to community schools.  In the adjacent area there are many Hebrew Schools, Private Schools and Muslim Schools.  There are also many large fun parks conveniently located throughout the area and a large dog park located within a five minute drive

There is the Lebovic Jewish community Campus which is a facility that including Hebrew Schools, a Jewish community center, a theatre, conference centre and many other Jewish organizations and services very near.

On all the Major intersections surrounding the area there are grocery/convenience stores, Drug Stores, Bank, Restaurants and big box shopping centers including a Walmart Superstore and a Lowes Store.

The area is one block north of Highway 407, minutes from Highway 400 and the Go Station and approx. ten minutes north of the City of Toronto.

It is not a wonder that Thornberry Woods is a very desirable area to live and probably has something to offer everyone!
